We offer nationally recognized certifications in Wilderness First Aid (WFA), Wilderness First Responder (WFR), Wilderness EMT (WEMT), and Wilderness Advanced First Aid (WAFA) through the Wilderness Medicine Training Center International (WMTC).

WMTC curriculum is based on practice guidelines established by the Wilderness Medical Society and scope of practice documents written by the Wilderness Medicine Education Collaborative (WMEC.)

WMTC’s approach to teaching wilderness medicine is highly experiential and practical. We believe in the power of hands-on learning, and our courses incorporate a variety of engaging methods, including skill labs, lectures, demonstrations, and simulations. Through these interactive sessions, you will gain the essential knowledge and skills needed to prevent, assess, and treat common injuries and illnesses that may occur in remote or wilderness environments.
